As a CPA & a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) with over forty years of experience in tax services, Joanne has counseled hundreds of small business owners and individuals on how to minimize taxation, create business succession plans, and strategically maximize business planning opportunities. She is a Series 7 and 65 registered representative and is an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as a licensed life and health insurance agent.

Joanne began her own tax practice, currently known as Proactive Tax Strategies, LLP, in 2003 after a 15 year affiliation with a full-service accounting firm in Montgomery and Chester Counties, specializing in small business tax and accounting services. During her tenure she moved quickly from junior accountant, to senior accountant, to manager and ultimately became the fourth partner in the highly regarded firm. She moved on to establish her own practice when relocating to Bucks County was an important personal goal to her and her family.

In 2012, Joanne expanded her accounting and tax practice to offer more comprehensive and advanced planning services to her clients as a Financial Advisor, by creating Proactive Financial Strategies. As an accomplished and energetic professional with a depth of experience in the financial world, Joanne is a firm believer in taking a “proactive” approach to planning. By combining the savings of optimal tax strategies with an eye to preservation, and the properly planned phases of accumulation and distribution as well as the strategic transfer of wealth through complete financial planning, she is able to bring value to her clients.

A native of the Bucks County area, she is a graduate of Delaware Valley College with a degree in Business Administration.
